Alternative Renewable Energy
One of Aries Energy & Transport Corp’s long-term vision is to be actively involved in the reduction of global CO2 emissions into the environment. As part of its mission, the Group has invested in alternative energy resources known as Photovoltaic (PV) Parks (Solar Energy).
Since 2012, the Group has formed two companies, Solar Anaplasia EE and InterEnterprise. Together both companies operate five (5) PV stations, four (4) of which operate in the area of Agios Antonios, located in the southern region of Heraklion on the island of Crete and one (1) on the island of Rhodes in Eftemati Asklion.
MAPS PINTPOINTING THE PV PARKS
With reference to the four (4) PV plants on the island of Crete, this obtains a total installed capacity of 310 kWh, generating about 513,000 kWh of green energy per year. With this production, the carbon footprint can be reduced by 425.20 tons each year.
Since its formation, over 3,000,000 kWh of green energy has been generated, saving more than 2,487 tons of CO2 being released into the atmosphere.
Another PV plant was incorporated on the island of Rhodes, it has a total installed capacity of 100 kWp generating approximately180.000kWp of green energy per year. With this production we are able to reduce our carbon footprint by17.000 tonnes of CO2 every year. In total since the start of the PV plant we have been able to produce more that 1.134.702, 30 kWh of green energy, saving more than 230.000 CO2.
With our sustainable development guide, our research on investing on new alternative energy sources continues and we remain open to any future cooperation that will bring about a cleaner and healthier future to us all.
